General privacy statement
AP Solutions GmbH is delighted that you are visiting the allyz website www.allyz.com and/or using the allyz application. The protection of your personal data is important to us.
On 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force. This regulation governs the processing of personal data carried out in the course of the activities of an establishment of a controller or processor within the territory of the European Union. As a data controller, AP Solutions GmbH is obliged to inform you about the way in which your personal data is processed: the following will inform you about the way in which we process your personal data and the rights to which you are entitled under the Data Protection Act.
This statement may be updated regularly. We therefore advise you to consult it regularly. The last line of the statement indicates when it was last updated.

4. Categories of recipients of personal data | We will ensure that your personal data is processed in a manner compatible with the purposes indicated above. For the purposes indicated, your personal data may be disclosed to the following parties who operate as third-party data controllers: · Public authorities, other Allianz Group companies, other insurers, co-insurers, reinsurers, insurance intermediaries/brokers, service providers and banks.
For the purposes indicated, we may also share your personal data with the following parties who act as data controllers on our instructions : · other Allianz Group companies, technical consultants, experts, lawyers, loss adjusters, repairers and doctors, as well as service companies for the execution of operations (claims, IT, postal services, document management); and · advertisers and advertising networks to send you marketing communications, to the extent permitted by local legislation and in accordance with your communication preferences.
If allyz offers you third party services, we may simply provide a link to the third party's website. For the processing of personal data, only the data confidentiality charter of this third-party data processor applies. We do not share your personal data with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes without your permission. To comply with a legal obligation, we may share your data with the relevant ombudsman if you make a complaint about the product or service we have provided to you. |

5. Where is my personal data processed ? | Your personal data may be processed within and outside the European Economic Area (EEA) by the parties specified in section 5 above, always subject to contractual restrictions on confidentiality and security, in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. We will not disclose your personal data to parties who are not authorised to process it. Where we transfer your personal data for processing outside the EEA by another Allianz Group company, we do so on the basis of binding corporate rules approved by Allianz, known as the Allianz Privacy Standard (Allianz' BCR), which establish adequate protection for personal data and are legally binding on all Allianz Group companies. The Allianz BCR and the list of Allianz Group companies that comply with them can be accessed at the following address: Binding Corporate Rules (allianz-partners.com). Where Allianz BCRs do not apply, we will take steps to ensure that the transfer of your personal data outside the EEA has an adequate level of protection in relation to the EEA. 6. Use of cookies |
We use cookies on our website. These are small files created automatically by your browser and stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device and do not contain any viruses, Trojan horses or other malicious software.

Duration and storage | We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide the services to you, for as long as you have an active account with us, for the purposes of our legitimate interests and business operations, to comply with existing legal obligations and/or to exercise our rights and defend against claims. The specific length of time we keep your personal data depends on the reason we collect it and the purpose for which it is processed. We will retain your personal data for the statutory limitation periods set out in the regulations applicable to the services provided.

Privacy statement for advertising purposes
1. Who is the data controller?
AP Solutions GmbH ("APS"), Allianz Direct Versicherungs-AG ("AZD") and AWP P&C S.A., succursale pour France ("AWP") (APS, AZD and AWP together "we", "us" or "our") are jointly responsible for the processing of personal data referred to in this privacy statement for the purposes of marketing communications.
The joint managers AZD and AWP designate APS as the company responsible for ensuring the enforcement of the rights of data subjects, fulfilling the information obligations set out in Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and acting as the contact point for the supervisory data protection authorities.

2. For what purposes are personal data processed?
APS, AZD and AWP operate their own websites and applications and process the personal data of users who make use of their services. When visiting the websites, you may agree to receive marketing communications via the communication channels indicated in the declaration of consent. The joint managers intend to use the personal data collected for advertising communication purposes and to comply with legal obligations.
We will process the following personal data about you:

- Prefix (if applicable).
3. How do we process your personal data?
We will only process the personal data you provide to us for the purposes indicated and with your explicit consent:

Finally, we may share your personal data in the following cases:
- In the event of any planned or actual restructuring, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other arrangement of all or any part of our business, assets or share capital (including in connection with any insolvency or similar proceedings) and
- To comply with legal obligations, including referral to the relevant ombudsman if you have a complaint about a product or service we have offered you.
5. Where is your personal data processed?
Your personal data may be processed both inside and outside the European Economic Area (EEA) by the parties mentioned in section 4 above, always respecting contractual confidentiality and security restrictions, in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. We will not share your personal data with parties who are not authorized to process it.
If we transfer your personal data to another Allianz SE Group company for processing outside the EEA, we will do so on the basis of the binding corporate standard approved by Allianz SE, the Allianz Privacy Standard and the binding corporate rules (BCR) contained therein, which provide for adequate protection of personal data and are legally binding on all members of the Allianz Group. The Allianz BCR and the list of Allianz SE companies that comply with them can be found here : Binding Corporate Rules (allianz-partners.com). In cases where the Allianz BCR are not applicable, we will instead take steps to ensure that the transfer of your personal data outside the EEA enjoys an adequate level of protection, as is the case within the EEA. 6. What are your rights with regard to your personal data?
You have the right to :
- access your personal data and find out about the origin of the data, the purposes and objectives of the processing, the contact details of the data controller(s), the data processor(s) and the parties to whom the data may be disclosed;
- to withdraw your consent at any time if your personal data is processed with your consent;
- update or correct your personal data so that it is always accurate;
- have your personal data deleted from our files when it is no longer required for the purposes set out above;
- to have the processing of your personal data restricted in certain circumstances, for example if you have challenged the accuracy of your personal data, for as long as is necessary to enable us to verify the accuracy of that data;
- receive your personal data in an electronic format that is commonly used by you or a third party;
- lodge a complaint with us and/or a data protection authority.
You may withdraw your consent to receive marketing communications by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link in the e-mail you have received. You may also exercise these rights by contacting us as set out in section 1 above, stating your name, email address and the subject of your request.
7. How can you object to the processing of your personal data?
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data or to ask us to stop processing it (including for direct marketing purposes). Once you have informed us of this request, we will no longer process your personal data, unless permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
You may exercise this right in the same way as your other rights mentioned in section 6.
8. How long do we keep your personal data?
In the case of newsletters or similar subscription services to which you have subscribed, for example, this generally means that we retain your data until you inform us that you no longer wish to receive the newsletter in question.
Once the applicable retention periods have expired, all personal data is rendered anonymous or irrevocably deleted using appropriate security technologies.
We regularly update this privacy statement. We ensure that the most recent version is available on our listed websites and inform you directly of any significant changes that may affect you.
